Rosalba is so undervalued by her family and relatives that she's accidentally forgotten and left behind during a bus tour. Making her way to Venice, she eventually finds a place to stay, gets a job more or less by accident and makes some unusual new friends. By the time her husband and children appreciate her absence and try to get her back, she's not so sure she wants to return.
