The San José Public Library will be opening four libraries in various areas of the City in the first part of 2013. Three of the branches which have been renovated are SevenTrees, Calabazas and Educational Park. The Bascom library will be a brand new library in an area of the city which previously did not have a library.

Each library's collection strives to meet the unique needs and interests of the communities served. We would appreciate your input in order to help us develop the types of books, media, and electronic collections that meet the needs of your neighborhood.

Please take a quick survey to tell us your thoughts about the types of books, magazines, media and other items these four new branches should have.  This survey will be available through September 30, 2012.

Calabazas reopen in Jun 2013

Have been paying Cupertino Library $80 fee for the past 2 years. The reopening of Calabazas branch is good news. But the significant quality difference in services between Cupertino and San Jose libraries would likely keeps me paying the $80 fee for years to come.
