Dia de los Niños celebrates the Day of the Young Child and was held Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Tully Community Branch Library. Beyond just being entertaining for children and their parents, this program featured an emphasis on reading readiness so that parents can prepare their children to read even before they can read on their own. The program also featured a storytime by children's librarian Angela Vu as well as craft activities for the kids.
