This year marks the tenth anniversary of 9/11, officially known as the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance. 

• If you’re looking for books or other materials from the library, you can do a subject search for "September 11 Terrorist Attacks" for a comprehensive list of materials in our catalog.
• Through September, ebrary is offering free access to select eBooks on 9/11 from this site.
• Get free lesson plans: from Pearson Online Learning Exchange – Remembering September 11.  
• Read the 9-11 Commission Report, findings from an independent, bipartisan commission created by congressional legislation and the signature of President George W. Bush in late 2002.

You can also browse a number of websites commemorating the event. Here's a partial listing.

• The National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center Foundation, Inc.  "The memorial exhibition will commemorate the lives of those who perished on September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993 and will provide visitors with the opportunity to learn about the men, women, and children who died."
• The Flight 93 National Memorial. "Its mission [is] to preserve, protect, and tell the story of Flight 93."
• The National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial. "Dedicated to developing educational resources and outreach opportunities to help visitors understand the historic significance of the site and the events that occurred on September 11, 2001."
