National Chemistry Week Celebration at King Library

artwork of kids doing science experimentsCalling all would-be scientists, young and old, to the Children's Room of the King Library on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. We will be celebrating National Chemistry Week with experiments of all kinds: make some gooey slime in the slime lab; engage in hands-on chemistry activities in the theme of energy; spin the Chemistry Wheel of Fortune where everyone wins a prize!

Don't miss this terrific FREE Hands on Science Fun event! If all these experiments leave you wanting more than don't forget to check out some chemistry experiment books that San Jose Public Library owns. You can try new experiments at home, with adult supervision of course. See more information about National Chemistry Week and the Santa Clara Valley Section of the American Chemical Society who is sponsoring this great event.
