Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, marks the start of the Lunar New Year celebrations also known as and Spring Festival.

Wed, Feb. 2 – Lunar New Year Storytime and Craft.  6 pm. 

 

Hillview Branch Library

Wed, Feb. 2 – Chinese New Year's Craft.  6pm.         

 

Santa Teresa Branch Library

Thurs, Feb. 3 –Chinese New Year’s Craft.  3:30 pm.

 

Tully Community Branch Library

Sat, Feb. 5 – Lunar New Year Celebration.  1-3 pm.

 

Evergreen Branch Library

Sat, Feb. 5 – The Firebird Youth Chinese Orchestra will perform with traditional Chinese instruments to bring in the New Year.  2-3 pm.

Sat, Feb. 5 – Celebrate Lunar New Year With Linda Chen.  10 am-4 pm.

Tues, Feb. 8 – Chinese New Year: the craft program with Paul Gonzalez.  3:30 pm.
