Thanksgiving

Giving Thanks Together

A time for reflection and gratitude.

On the fourth Thursday of November, families and communities across the nation gather for Thanksgiving. This day is centered on gratitude, togetherness, and giving back. Many celebrate by sharing a meal, volunteering, or reflecting on the year’s blessings.

Giving thanks is a tradition that transcends cultures and borders. Communities around the world honor gratitude in their own ways. Join us at the library to celebrate our San José community with stories, crafts, and more, and learn how you can give back.
