The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library has special screen reader and magnification equipment for visitors with visual disabilities:

Computers with Jaws and MaGic

JAWS is a screen reader for computer programs and internet browsers. MaGic is a screen magnification program that enlarges text. Login to computers using your Library Card and PIN number. Reserve online ahead of time

Optalec ClearView+ (Electronic Video Magnifier)
Location: 2 available at 3rd Floor Service Desk
The ClearView+ is an electronic video magnifier that magnifies and enhances text, objects and images in different colors, brightness and contrast. It features auto-focus and a movable reading table so users can move objects and text beneath the camera, as well as an adjustable monitor.
