Megan Maloy is the acting manager of Youth Services and TeenHQ at King Library. She is also the San José Youth Commission coordinator. She worked on youth civic engagement with SJ Engage and digital inclusion through SJ Access. She maintains a diverse collection of young adult titles for the library, leads a Mock Printz training for library staff, and creates the YA Friday blog series. She received the California Library Association Young Adult Services Award in 2023. When she's not in a Youth Commission meeting, you can find her drinking iced coffee, pairing books with Taylor Swift songs, binge-watching reality TV, reorganizing her bookshelves, and trying to collect more stamps in her National Parks Passport.
