Congratulations to our annual Fall into Fiction Short Story Contest winners! The Fall into Fiction Contest ran from September 1-30 and challenged aspiring and amateur writers to compose short stories read in 3 minutes or less (4500 characters max). We were impressed with the creative work submitted to the contest! Stories of all kinds were submitted and will be added to our growing local collection of short form literature published online through the Short Edition Portal and Biblioboard digital collections. Contest submissions will also be featured on our Short Story dispensers located at the Village Square Branch and West Valley Branch libraries.

Each winner will receive a gift certificate to local bookseller Hicklebee's, a recently published short story anthology or picture book, as well as an assortment of goodies to help keep the words and creativity flowing.
