About the Contest
Congratulations to our 2024 Fall into Fiction Short Story contest winners! The contest challenged aspiring local authors to compose short stories read in 5 minutes or less (8,000 characters max), and our community certainly delivered! Stories of all kinds were submitted and will be added to our growing collection of short form literature published online through the Short Edition and Biblioboard digital collections. For a limited time, you can print contest submissions on a Short Edition dispenser kiosk at the Almaden, Village Square and West Valley Branches.
