Are You Ready for Halloween?
My previous blog delved into the cultural traditions of the Halloween Holiday. Today's blog is about the creative aspects of Halloween: carving pumpkins, making costumes, making crafts, and decorating your home for the most Spooktacular Halloween!
As I said before, Halloween is my favorite holiday. The Fall Season begins, and I start getting crafty. I make decorations and costume pieces. Our home is bedecked with Fall florals, pumpkins, Goth-y witches and skeletons. We also have a place in our home to honor our family and loved ones who have passed away. For me, this is a season of creativity, love, and honoring my ancestors.
