What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global movement inspiring acts of radical generosity. It's a chance to uplift your community, express gratitude, and spark positive change—sometimes through money, but also through meaningful actions.

Giving Tuesday has many different ideas, activities, and stories to share about those who have participated in the past and given back to their community. We also have some suggestions on how to give.

Simple Ways to Give

  • Give Kindness: Write a heartfelt note or text to someone you appreciate.
  • Compliment Freely: Make someone feel special with a compliment on their behavior, cooking, or anything that you love about them!
  • Offer to Help Someone: The holidays can be a great time of need for loved ones. Offer to help by cooking, spending time together, or talking on the phone with those you love.
