MyConnectSV at SJPL

If you are currently experiencing homelessness or receiving housing-related services in Santa Clara County, the MyConnectSV tool is for you. Now available at select locations at San José Public Library, MyConnectSV is a secure, easy to use online platform designed for service participants on their journey toward stable housing. It provides a range of tools to help both participants and service providers stay connected and organized.

  • Location sharing   
  • Ability to drop a pin where participants are staying  
  • Information management  
  • Update contact info, keep track of appointments and documents  
  • Messaging center with care team members  
  • Resource directory that stays up-to-date

MyConnectSV at SJPL:  

To support access to this new tool, San José Public Library launched two computer stations at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library on the 3rd floor and Tully Community Branch Library 

  • Features of MCSV at SJPL:         
    • Dedicated Desktop Computers: Two dedicated desktop computers per location that are equipped with document scanners and headsets for over-the-internet phone calls  
    • Staff Available to Help: Staff support is available during dedicated tech assistance hours: find our most up-to-date tech hours on our events page or search “MyConnectSV”

Current MyConnectSV User:  Stop by during our open hours to use these dedicated computer stations! Just ask desk staff at participating locations to use MyConnect Computers! 

Sign Up Today: If you are not a current MyConnectSV user but are currently experiencing homelessness or receiving housing-related services in Santa Clara County, connect with your case manager, employment specialist, or another member of your support team and ask them to sign you up!  You can also stop by PATH's drop-in hours to connect with a service provider who can help you set up an account.

The San José Public Library's Holistic Library Initiative supports people experiencing homelessness by providing programs like job fairs, resource fairs, and services like Social Workers in the Library.  

The Library is a contributing Department of the City's Community Plan to End Homelessness. As a part of this work, the Library aims to provide a low-barrier method for users to get connected to this powerful new online tool. SJPL is excited to roll out an expansion of Holistic Library Initiative services by providing MyConnectSV computer stations and tech support!
