Bring out your smocks, crayons, paints, and paintbrushes, and join us in celebrating the artists that have changed our world with our Wee Love Art program at branch libraries this summer.
Wee Love Art is a three-session program. In each session, children are introduced to a different artist and their unique and groundbreaking art styles. Children will have the opportunity to create their masterpieces in the artist's style they learn about. Pick one or attend all to learn more about the artists and their work.
Children can grow their creativity and imaginations with caregivers and peers, from dynamic geometric grids to paper cutouts and collages to vivid landscapes and florals.
Week 1: Piet Mondrian
Week 2: Henri Matisse
Week 3: Georgia O'Keeffe
Dates vary by branch location, so watch our events page for more information about program dates and times for your nearest branch library.
