It's Friday the 13th, a superstitiously unlucky day where anything can happen! And we’re pretty sure just about everyone has wondered what their life would be like if they were one day wake up as someone else. Well, the characters in the books below get to experience their own "Freaky Friday" when they swap bodies with someone they just don't understand, very often an archenemy, in their lives.
For those not familiar, a classic case of body swap fiction is the one-to-one exchange of bodies or places between two people. Ever since stories like Mark Twain's The Prince and the Pauper, people have been wondering if the grass is really greener on the other side. Because when you enter someone else's consciousness or have to literally walk a mile in the other person's shoes, you really develop a sense of empathy and discover that the perfect life we see on the outside, is not always the truth.
