- A valid library card in good standing and its PIN are required to reserve a public computer.
- Only the cardholder can make the reservation. Only the cardholder can use the reserved public computer.
- You may have two reservations at a time.
- You may make a reservations up to four business days in advance.
- Reserved public computers will be held for 10 minutes at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library and 5 minutes at all branch locations. After that time, the public computers will be made available to other users.
- After you use your reserved time, you may do one of the following:
- Make another reservation for later that day.
- Without a reservation, you may continue to use the public computer if it hasn't already been reserved.
- If you see a public computer not in use, you may log on and use it without a reservation if no one else has reserved it.
- When your session expires, you will be automatically logged off the public computer you are using.
- There is a daily 2-hour total limit on branch public computers. There is a 2-hour base limit at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library.
- Reserved and unreserved use of any type of public computer counts toward this limit.
- There is no guarantee of computer availability.
