Get your news the new old-fashioned way!

We are happy to announce that we have added The New York Times Online to our list of eResources!  Get unlimited access to current news (1981 - the present) and limited access to the entire archive.

You can access The New York Times Online on any of our internet computers or through the branch Wi-Fi in any of our branch libraries (including King Library) by going to www.nytimes.com.

Reading on The New York Times App

The New York Times app is free and available for the following operating systems:

  • Android
  • iOS
  • Amazon Fire

Please visit your device's app store to get the app. You will need to follow the "Offsite 'home' access" instructions above in a browser before you log in to the The New York Times app:

  1. Follow steps 1 and 2 above to get your 72 hour access.
  2. Open the NYTimes app
  3. Log in with the email you used to register -- the access code will have already been applied.
